SORA SHIRAI

Sora Shirai began studying the violin at the age of 5 with Mrs. Asako Kremer. Now, she is a rising sophomore at Hanover High School in Hanover, New Hampshire, and studies with Ms. Deborah Boykan. After playing a solo performance at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston as a Rising Star, she has been part of the Ashley Hall Orchestra and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. Now Sora is a member of the Youth Symphony of the New England Conservatory Preparatory Orchestras and has been accepted to the 2020 All-State Chamber Music Festival and Orchestra in New Hampshire as well as Music for All's 2020 Honor Orchestra of America.
